The S1 Bus doesn’t go into Khao San Road but it takes you to the Phra Nakorn area, which includes Khao San Road, Phra Arthit Rd, Samsen Rd, Lan Luang Rd and Sanam Luang. So once you reach the destination, you will have to walk for another 10-15 mins into the Khaosan Road itself.

3. Public Taxi
Similar to private transfers, getting a public taxi to Khaosan Road is also one of the most preferred choices. This is because it’s comfortable and you can enjoy a ride along the way, passing through the Bangkok city and downtown areas. The public taxi operates using a taximeter.
Skip any driver who refuses to use the meter as this is one of the common scams tourists face with taxis in Bangkok. Grab is also available right in front of the Suvarnabhumi Airport gate, and cost slightly higher than the metered taxi. However, you can feel safe and comfortable with Grab than the regular the taxi.
